Every person has been touched by cancer in one way or another. It sucks. Some stories are worse than others, but they are all personal. Miami (OH) is doing something pretty cool to raise awareness for cancer on Saturday:
Red: Blood Cancers (8 players)
Orange: Kidney Cancer, Leukemia (12 players)
Pink: Breast Cancer (32 players)
Green: Liver Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Cervical Cancer (8 players)
Purple: Leiomyosarcoma, Pancreatic Cancer, Testicular Cancer (14 players)
Blue: Colon Cancer, Esophageal Cancer (14 players)
Yellow: Bladder Cancer, Sarcoma/Bone Cancer (10 players)
White: Lung Cancer (9 players)
Black: Melanoma (4 players)
#MACtion wins again. Electric gambling options on a Tuesday and Wednesday in the fall, while raising awareness for cancer on Saturday’s. Show me a better G5 conference. I dare you.
Am I surprised that the NCAA is allowing such a nice and cool thing to go on? A little bit. We know Roger Goodell would not let such a uniform infraction to happen.
Miami (OH) will be auctioning away the helmets used if you are interested:
