Gambling Addict Loses All His Money... And Gets It Back?

Source - Between 2002 and 2012, the player gambled away in the Austrian capital of Vienna €2.5 million on slot machines. Until January 1st, 2015, there were around 2,600 of these slots in Vienna, but since then they have been abolished and banned for the purposes of gambling addiction prevention.

An expert report now states that the player suffered from a changed perception due to his gambling addiction and the bets on the machine were judged null and void by the court of Wiener Neustadt.

Wait What!? Let me get this straight, this man lost 2.5 million and since he has a gambling addiction he gets the money back? Can I show the court my track record and show them how bad of a streak/life  I have had?

Besides the fact that he is getting his money back, losing that much by just playing slots is hard. Sitting there day in and day out for ten years just pulling a lever and losing your mortgage? Just seeing a picture of a slot machine makes me upset. Those bright lights and hearing those miserable noises makes me cringe.

I know I spend all of my money on sports gambling but at least Im watching live action and can put some emotion into it.

A little confused on how the judge can sit there and be like well these slots were banned to prevent gambling addiction but since you were addicted to them when they were around, we grant you your money back. Well I put more money than I have ever had on the Saints beating the Vikings in the playoffs last year and I deserve all my money back. I have no sympathy for this guy but I am very, very jealous of this fucking bastard. I will soon have to try and expense my bets here at Barstool and see what happens.
