OG Troll God Steve Spurrier Calls AAF Crowd Just As Loud As Rocky Top

Steve Spurrier was trolling before anyone knew what trolling was. He was an OG throwing jabs at his rivals left and right. Some would say he created trolling in college football. Some of his best quotes…..

On FSU: “You know what FSU stands for, don’t you? Free Shoes University.”

After Jadeveon Clowney was cited for speeding: “I didn’t know Jadeveon’s car that could go that fast. He doesn’t have a pretty car like those FSU guys used to drive.”

On Georgia: “I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended.”

About fire at Auburn library: “The real tragedy was that 15 hadn’t been colored yet.”

About Tennessee never making BCS: ““You can’t spell Citrus without U-T.”

Imagine if we got prime Spurrier when Twitter was around? Would’ve been amazing.

Now he’s insulting Tennessee while coaching in the AAF?! Father of time hasn’t caught up to the head ball coach yet. Football is better with the head ball coach involved.

My tweet caught some steam on Twitter and some Tennessee fans were not happy with me saying “louder than” instead of just as loud (which, for some reason, in the mind of a Tennessee fan is fine):

They also kept bringing up how Butch Jones beat Steve Spurrier a bunch.

I’m glad I could be a punching bag for them as they attempt to get over their loss to Kentucky yesterday.
