RBI Baseball was amazing, just like Walk The Line's picks tonight

Baseball video games are a top five thing in my life. They’ve always been there and they will always be there. And while I don’t have it in my personal top five baseball video games ever, RBI Baseball is way up there. But not at the very top. I just couldn’t get past the fatass players and the fact you could bunt for a home run.

But you want winners. I’ve got them.

This could could be a boom-or-bust night with Walk the Line’s picks, as I am going against the public in three of the four picks. But I can’t resist the temptation to bet on a 50-win Utah Jazz team that won its last eight home games of the regular season. I think they are getting undervalued right now because the Rockets have won the first three games of the series. Utah +3.5 is very attractive, but scared money doesn’t make money, and I’m taking the +145 value on the moneyline. I have no problem taking the risk for a 50-win team that lost a coin-flip game two days ago.

The rest of our Walk the Line picks for tonight:

Canes (-120) over Capitals.

Stars (-120) over Predators

Mets ML (-108) over Phillies.

Also, my top five baseball video games ever are:

5) Baseball Stars – NES

4) Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball – Nintendo 64

3) Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball – SNES

2) MLB: The Show series – PS2 until present

1) MVP Baseball 2005 – PS2
