Walk The Line: The thing I'll miss most about the South

I’m moving to NYC next week. Mush should be arriving into Mississippi Sunday night and we’re going to start our cross-country road trip to New Jersey on Monday. It’s going to be the worst experience of my life.

But I get asked one question often on my show: What will you miss most about the south? The answer is simple. The answer is sweet tea. Sweet tea is the nectar of the gods, and getting to order a tall, cold sweet tea at a restaurant is one of the last true pleasures I have left. That pleasure is not going to be available soon, and I don’t know how to handle it.

Maybe I’ll just be a man and accept it, then lose 30 pounds because I’m not drinking glorified sugar water every fucking day. Or maybe not.

As for today’s picks, 85 percent of the betting public is on the Phillies as a heavy road favorite at Detroit tonight. Not me. I’m taking this opportunity to back a pretty good pitcher in Matthew Boyd and I’m fading the public. Tigers ML +145) is the pick.

Other picks from Walk The Line:

Braves runline over Royals

White Sox (even) over Marlins

For today’s viewer picks:

Cole Ruley: Astros-A’s over 9.5

Kyle Sullivan: Giants ML over Cubs
