Busting A €100,000 Poker Tournament In 14 Minutes And Then Re-Entering Is What Dreams Are Made Of

The time: 5:49pm. The place? Kings Casino in the Czech Republic. The event? The €100,000 high roller event at the World Series of Poker Europe. Cristoph Vogelsang, a high stakes poker player from Germany, just re-entered the tournament after busting out in his first bullet. Meaning he paid €100,000, lost, and then bought back in for another €100,000. And then what happened about 14 minutes later?

Womp, womp, wompppppp. Brutal. €100,000 in 14 minutes, or €7,142.86/minute.

So you might be thinking “what does he do after he busts his 2nd bullet?” Brother, he fires a 3rd! €300,000 invested into the tournament, meaning he needs to finish 6th or better to make a profit:

The sickest hand that came from this tournament was this one, which would be brutal in a 50 cent home game, nevermind a high roller:
