And here we are, World Series game 2 live blog. Coming off a win no less! Over Gerrit Cole no less!!!!!

So you have to believe the Nats are feeling really good about everything. They won a game vs Cole while Scherzer didn’t have his best stuff. The Nats had to go to the pen early and still grinded out the W. That’s how you know something with this team is special.

So now Stras is on the mound vs Verlander. Not bad for a game 2 matchup. And there’s no reason to think Stras will be anything but elite. He has completely dominated the postseason in his career, and I expect more of the same with a 2-0 World Series lead on the line.

Oh, and we still get to see Soto, Rendon, Howie, Trea, and the rest do battle. This really is what it’s all about.
