Buckets. Toughness. Myles Powell: February 5th CBB Picks

YTD ATS Record: 24-26

Villanova +2.5, ML +120 and OVER 131

These teams played each other at Villanova on January 21st and Villanova was able to pull out a 76-61 win. I can't trust Butler right now. They're way too inconsistent you never know what team is gonna show up on a give night. I have way more confidence in Villanova's guard play (Connor Gillespie) and coaching to go on the road and get a conference win here. They have the pedigree and the make up. They've been the shining star of the conference for years. Villanova gets an outright win on the road in a high scoring game.

Ole Miss -1 vs South Carolina

WHY IN THE WORLD IS OLE MISS A FAVORITE IN THIS GAME?!?!?! South Carolina has won four of its last five including a win over Arkansas. Ole Miss has been up against the ropes losing four of its last five and are 1-7 in conference play. It can only mean one thing. The Ole Miss Rebels are gonna win this damn basketball game. This is Gambling 101. Read the line. This line screams OLE MISS. Let's go Rebels baby.

Seton Hall -3 @ Georgetown

Myles Powell is my co-favorite player in college basketball along with Fatts Russell. Myles Powell is a walking bucket with a green light from half and a tenacious competitor. I love the makeup of this Seton Hall team. Tough, gritty and can score the basketball. They're coming off a loss following a 10 game winning streak and I think they come into this gam extremely motivated. Georgetown is nothing to slouch at I love Patrick Ewing but Georgetown's best player Mac McClung is most likely sitting out this game. I think Seton Hall and the guard combo of Powell and McKnight is too much for Georgetown here even on the road in the nation's capital.
