We've Got An Interesting Late Pick Five at Gulfstream

Normally on our Pick Five tickets we are trying to find a single. Finding a horse to single in a race allows us to go deeper in other races. Sometimes it's easier than others to find the single. Today, in the late Pick Five at Gulfstream, I think we've got two singles. Back to back. I know, it's crazy, but that's what the sheets and my gut are telling me, so i'm going with it. Come on down the rabbit hole with me, friends:

BlackJack's Gulfstream Late Pick Five:

Race Six: (2) Untitled would be the first of our two singles here. This horse is the classiest in a short field by a mile. 75% effort out of Untitled should win this race. The first single.

Race Seven: The (11) Dr. Edgar is similar to Untitled in terms of the back class. It's excellent. This is a horse that has run in races like the Knickerbocker at Belmont, the Stradivarius at Saratoga and the Appleton at Gulfstream. This shouldn't be too much of a challenge for a horse with those credentials.

Race Eight: I suppose my favorite would be the (4) Topo Grigio, but really, this is a wide open, short field, press the ALL button here.

Race Nine: This is another wide open race where you'll want some coverage. My top choice here is (8) Award Winner. This Ghostzapper colt is still trying to find consistency, but when he's on, he's tough to beat. He's won some big races in the past and may be more comfortable against this level after a couple tries. I'll use him with (1), (3), (9), (10), and (11).

Race Ten: The (7) Retro Street is my top choice here. The Street Sense filly has had trouble in her last couple starts and is dropping here. That's enough for me to put her on top, but I'm still using (5), (9), (10), (13).
