Pasta Declared "Unfit To Participate"

Bruins Head Coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed that their top goal-scorer David Pastrnak, as well as his fellow Czech 'mate Ondrej Kase, were deemed "unfit to participate" in today's practice just a day after making their training camp debuts. "Hopefully, that changes in the near future...until he's out there, then it is a concern," he said.

Like we discussed on today's Chiclets, teams won't be clarifying what the reason for a player's absence is and will instead declare them as "unfit to participate". At the end of the day, it's a private employee/employer issue and none of our business. However, given the current climate and circumstances, people are going to speculate as to what the issue is.

Neither player was reported to be seen in any distress during practice. Both players are Czechs who were in the same international quarantine protocol before joining the team Wednesday.
