Tulsa/Tulane May Have Been The Gambling Game Of The Year In College Football

Tulsa & Tulane went into half tied at 0.

The total for the game closed around 55, so the low scoring affair was not expected.

It took until 5:25 left in the third quarter for any points to be scored, but as you may have guessed by the title of this blog...things got wild.

It was 21-14...3rd & 7 on Tulane's 37 with 6 seconds on the clock and what happened? You guessed it.

They traded kicks in the first OT and the total was at 48. I, personally, had under 55 and thought I was dead. Tulane was slowly inching towards scoring a TD and at best I would walk away with a push! A truly brutal beat. My only way out? A pick-6:

For me? It was pure joy. Although, for those who had Tulane +5.5? Pain. Nothing but pain.

I can't think of a game off the top of my head for 2020 who had more of a wild gambling ending than this one. Of course it came while everyone was focused on the NFL.
