Let's Fucking Go Bruins! RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls

I knew what my play was going to be once the Bs lost in OT Saturday night. The first line was almost invisible and the team barely challenged back-up Craig Anderson, who was forced into the game after Vitek Vanecek was injured trying to stop Jake DeBrusk's goal. Anderson stopped 21 of 22 shots yet I can't remember the Bruins making him work hard for them. Yes, credit to the Caps for shutting them down. But this was also one of the most limp-dick offensive efforts from the Bs in ages.

Tonight is the Bruins season. If they go down 0-2, the Bs will be two slices of white bread in a toaster just waiting for somebody to push the lever down. However I know this is a proud team that has consistently answered the bell when needed most. And I don't see them losing to Craig Anderson two games in a row. We are pounding the Bruins money line -130 and taking them -1.5 +200 for half of the money line wager amount. This is it. If they lose, I'm going down with the ship.

Good luck to all.

Friend of Spittin' Chiclets, son of The Capital District, and 17-year pro Matt Murley will also be sharing his picks here as well.

Boston Bruins @ Washington Capitals (ML +116, O/U 5.5)

Murls Take: The first game lived up to the hype! This will be a hard-nosed series that will come down to bounces. Last game, a few breaks led to all the goals. Rask looked like a goalie that can help his team make a run...now let's talk Anderson. I get sore when I run up a flight of stairs in my house at this age and Anderson, who has played fewer games than Whitney in his last season with Modo, must be hurting. I think the Bruins get the offense on track and put a few past him. Also, this is a Murley system play!!

Murls Pick: Bruins 3, Caps 1

Murley's Best Bet:  Bruins money line -137, sidecar on Pastrnak anytime goal +112
