Trysta's Teasers: WNBA Picks For The Weekend SATURDAY UPDATE

SATURDAY UPDATE:

We were right about L.A. being trash, they only scored 66 points last night and got blown out by the Mercury.

Today we have three games on the docket. The early game sees Connecticut vs. Chicago (-7 and o156), the afternoon game pits Indiana at Washington (-9 and o164), and the late game has Minnesota at Dallas (-3.5 and o164). I really don't like two of these games, because I can't quite figure out the Chicago Sky so I'm shying away from them.

In the afternoon game a surging Mystics team takes on a trash Fever. They are the 2020 New York Liberty all over again, 1-13 with no signs of hope on the horizon. They are 4-10 ATS so that's about as sure a thing as you'll find going right now. I love the Mystics -9 and I really like u164. The Mystics are missing FIVE major players and will still win by double digits. Wild year in Indiana. If you have to bet only one, take the under.

THE PICK: Washington -9 and u164

In the late game, injuries play a role again. The Lynx are a walking hospital wing. Aerial Powers and Natalie Achonwa are both out indefinitely now. Dallas is inconsistent but I like them at home, and they are 6-1 ATS of late. They are healthy and the Lynx just don't have the depth to find enough buckets.

THE PICK: Dallas -3.5

I like the u164 and Dallas -3.5 on a double, too.

We'll be back tomorrow to preview the Sunday games. Keep letting these ladies make money for you!

==============================================================================

Another fun weekend of WNBA basketball ahead of us as we’re starting to cook. We’ll try and keep up the winning this weekend as we reach the sweet spot for gambler’s -- when the ups and downs of the early season are over, and teams are settling in to who they’re going to be (unless injuries disrupt things). Less surprises mean more predictability, which means more $$$ in internationals to practice for their national teams in prep for the Olympics (the WNBA is taking a break for that period by the way).

Only one game is on the slate tonight, Phoenix (-4 and o155.5) on the road at the Los Angeles Sparks. The Sparks are a disappointment at 5-5 (but 4-1 against the East). The Mercury are also playing below expectations at 5-7 and traditionally play awful against L.A. (. Both teams hover around .500 ATS this year, so this is a tough call. Hartley and Taurasi are out for the Mercury. Everyone seems out for the Sparks. I like Phoenix to cover and the under to hit.

THE PICK: Phoenix -4 and o155.5

Check back tomorrow, where there are three games on the docket.

As always, you may hate women’s basketball with the heat of a neutron star, but your basketball IQ is higher than Kobe Bryant, right? Smart men always remember that money knows no gender.
