Forecaster Frank's Picks: Week 7

I was feeble in Week 6, going 4-10 in what I believe was the worst Sunday of football in years, with most of the games being blowouts. I am 46-47-1 on the season with a .495 percentage.

Thursday

Den +2 (o/u 41.5)

Broncos 17 Browns 13

The Browns are seriously hobbling as the line is banged up, and Baker Mayfield is unable to play with a shoulder injury. The Broncos have lost their last three games, but the Browns' injuries are too much for them to overcome.

Sunday at 1

Bal -6.5 (o/u 47)

Ravens 31 Bengals 16

The Ravens had a statement win last week against the Chargers. The Bengals hoping to make noise in the AFC North are also coming off a convincing win. The Bengals are trending up, but the Ravens are finding their groove and are a genuine Super Bowl contender.

Was +8.5 (o/u 49)

Packers 27 Washington 19

The Packers beat the Bears as Aaron Rodgers proclaimed ownership of all of Chicago. The Packers let the Bears hang around. The Football Team, meanwhile, led at the half against the Chiefs. Taylor Heinkie has the knack of getting those back door covers, and that is how this game will end, with Washington scoring late to cover the spread.

Atl +2.5 (o/u 47.5)

Falcons 27 Dolphins 13

It is a suck fest in Miami as two horrible teams with no hope meet, hoping not to be embarrassing. Look for the Dolphins weary from a trip to London; (why the hell they are not off is beyond me) to sleepwalk as the Falcons get a third win. Myles Gaskins will fumble and get less than one yard per carry, as Tua is running for his life.

NE -7 (o/u 42.5)

Patriots 38 Jets 16

The Patriots are 0-4 at home this season, but they could have won each game. They have won twice on the road, including a win at the Meadowlands against the Jets. Look for them to pummel the Jets again, as Mac Jones has a big day in Foxboro.

NYG +3 (o/u 43)

Giants 20 Panthers 17

The Giants have been embarrassed at home several times this season and have often played better on the road. The Panthers are like the Broncos reeling after their 3-0 start has turned into 3-3. Look for the Giants to find their way as Daniel Jones gets a home win, while Sam Darnold's start becomes a faded memory in his return to Met Life Stadium.

KC -5.5 (o/u 57.5)

Chiefs 41 Titans 34

The Titans are coming off an impressive win over the Bills on Monday Night. That game went back and forth, with their defense making a big stop at the end. The Titans' defense has been terrible for most of the season. The Chiefs, meanwhile, have yet to hit their stride as they have had struggled with turnovers. Look for a shootout in Music City as the Chiefs get the win.

Sunday Late Games

LV -3 (o/u 49)

Raiders 27 Eagles 16

Believe in Rich Bisaccia. The Raiders overcame the Jon Gruden situation and delivered an impressive win in Denver last week. Look for them to be just as strong this week as they take down the Eagles at home.

Det +15 (o/u 50.5)

Rams 30 Lions 16

The Rams and Lions swapped quarterbacks after last season, with Matthew Stafford going to the Rams and Jared Goff going to Detroit. Stafford has the Rams in playoff contention, while Goff is winless in Detroit. The Rams will win, but that spread seems a tad high, as they call off the dogs and all Goff and the Lions to get a cover.

Ari -17.5 (o/u 47.5)

Cardinals 37 Texans 6

Hide the women and children; this one will be ugly as Davis Mills wishes he could phone home as Kyle Murray has a big game and the Texans come up lame.

Chi +12.5 (o/u 47.5)

Buccaneers 30 Bears 20

Justin Fields will have his growing pains, as the Bears appear to have found their quarterback of the future. This game will be a lesson for him as he goes against Tom Brady. Look for Fields to have a good showing despite a loss on the road.

Sunday Night

Ind +4 (o/u 44)

Colts 20 49ers 16

The Colts have looked impressive in the past two weeks beating the Dolphins and Texans. Playing on Sunday night, expect their defense to be the star as the Niners quarterback situation appears to be messy with the transition from Jimmy Garoppolo to Trey Lance.

Monday Night

NO -5 (o/u 43)

Saints 31 Seahawks 13

With Russell Wilson sidelined, a potential Monday Night thriller is turned into a dud. The Seahawks will have no answer for Alvin Kamara, who will have a big game as the Saints win it easily.
