Football Guy Mike Evans Shows Up To Training Camp Wearing His Helmet

Mike Evans, much like his Buccaneers are continually disrespected. Evans holds the NFL record for most 1,000 yard seasons to begin his career with nine and counting. Yet he's only made four Pro Bowls and doesn't appear to be a lock for Canton as of yet.

The Buccaneers are also not being shown respect this season. Yet to name their starting Quarterback, their win total is 6.5 (via the Barstool Sportsbook). This is a team that plays in the dumpster fire that is the NFC South whose best Quarterback at the moment is Derek Carr. They'll get six games against the likes of Carr, Desmond Ridder, and rookie Bryce Young. Additionally, they're playing the AFC South this year so, with respect to Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars, will have three games against (presumably) Ryan Tannehill, rookie C.J. Stroud, and rookie Anthony Richardson.

Again, the Buccaneers have a lot to prove, but I've also heard rave reviews about the new Offensive Coordinator, Dave Canales. He was up in Seattle working his way up the ranks where he was Geno Smith's Quarterback Coach last season en route to a Comeback Player of the Year award and Pro Bowl nod. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers jettisoned their OC, Byron Leftwich whose offensive became extremely stagnant and predictable. Can Canales do with this year's Bucs what he did with last year's Seahawks who had a win total line of 5.5? We'll see, but one thing is for sure, Mike Evans is not messing around this year. He showed up to camp on Tuesday wearing his helmet.

It's all business from Evans as he tries to extend his 1,000 yard record season to 10. His line in the Barstool Sportsbook for Over/Under yards is 900.5. You can bet the over, like me right here
