– The absolute favorite interim coach is back folks ! After a  rough 2-2 record start LSU sent Les Miles packing.Defensive line coach Ed Orgeron. You may remember him filling in the exact same role with USC. Big Cat and Prez sure don’t as they are all over LSU -13 this weekend, despite Fournette being hurt.As far as LSU’s replacement, Tom Herman is the favorite. Get the full scoop here.

– Talk about a payout ! Heisman favorite Lamar Jackson opened the season at +5000 to win the Heisman trophy, but is now at -250. For all value plays, favorites, and wild cards. Here’s the full scoop on the Heisman odds.

– After an impressive month, Wisconsin has bumped up the charts as far as title contenders to 40-1 after opening the year at 100-1. Justin Hartling makes some good points that with two wins over Top 10 teams at the time, there’s some value with the Badgers.  Here’s his full take.

If you are asking for a wild card. I would say Texas A&M at 25-1 is interesting as their Defense will be a formidable match up against Bama and may pull the upset.

– Fist fighting in New York !! Fist fighting in New York !! Fist fighting in New York !! Big annoucement as the UFC will make it’s debut at MSG in November. The always entertaining Conor McGregor will square off vs Eddie Alvarez.

Opening odds are McGregor -140 , Alvarez +110.

PICKS

Arizona State +9.5

I will admit this could be an absolute bear trap. 1-3 USC who looks awful laying 9.5 to a 4-0 Arizona State team ? How does that make any sense. Long story short it doesn’t. A dive inside the numbers and you will find that Arizona State runs the ball better 223.3 per game vs USC’s 143 per game, throws it better 301.1 per vs USC’s 215 per, defends the run better 108 allowed vs USC’s 193 allowed. The only advantage USC has is defending the pass where they hold opponents to 201 a game, while Arizona State is really struggling 415 a game. Now- that number is AWFUL. However, they played two essential touch tackle teams in Cal and Texas Tech who want to throw the ball 40000 times if possible. I think USC is still very young, is banged up on defense, and most importantly – can’t be trusted laying 9.5. I’ll take the Sun Devils to keep it close, and it wouldn’t shock me on an outright win.

-Hank… I’m not mad at you partaking in the pick em show without me, but I am disappointed. Enjoy the games regardless.
