Rear Admiral's Gambling Corner: Rangers And Leafs And Sharks, Oh My

We’re looking for a bounceback this week after last week’s 2-6 showing that left us $275 in the red (1-4 on Monday for -525, 1-2 on Thursday for a +250). Quick note: when we recorded on Sunday 12/1, I was on just VGK on ML but added ‘Vegas -0.5 regulation only’ for a dime after the lines came out and posted it in the Gambling Corner blog on Tuesday 12/3).

The Leafs are in Vancouver tonight, a city where they’ve won just one game in the last 13 years. I think the Leafs will be feeling good after beating the Cup champs in their own barn and chasing their ace goalie. Even though the Canucks have scored 11 goals in their last two games, wins vs. Ottawa and Buffalo, this is a new game and we’re riding Toronto. We’re taking the Leafs -130 for 650 to make 500 and -1.5 +200 for 250 to make 500.

Further south down the Pacific coastline, the Rangers are in L.A. to visit the Kings. The Rags started their trip out west by dodging the Vegas flu and shutting out the Golden Knights Saturday. They’re in the thick of the playoff race and need to get point. The Kings are looking like a lottery team right now and only three teams have fewer goals. We are on the Rangers +105 for 500 to make 525 and -1.5 +250 for 250 to make 625.

LATE ADD: The Sharks have been outscored 12-2 in the last two games and they’re in Nashville tonight. Personal pride dictates they come out pissed off tonight. So we’re on the Sharks +150 for 500 to make 750 and -1.5 +320 for 250 to make 800.

Good luck to all.
