Today Is RACE DAY... Previewing The Daytona Road Course w/ Chase Elliott AND HQ Spider
There are 3 types of NASCAR fans:
1) Casual fans who may have just taken a shine to the sport and are desperate to learn more (me).
2) People who have watched races for years and consider race weekends to be sacred events.
So when we got the call that 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Chase Elliott was looking to sit down with Barstool before Sunday's road course event at Daytona, Spider jumped out of his fucking skin.
He showed up to the interview wearing what looked like a 25-year-old t-shirt emblazoned with Chase's dad, Bill Elliott, across the front and then continued to convince both Chase and me that NOBODY is more head-over-heels excited about Sunday's action than Spider.
